Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to your use of abdullahisactive.com and to any web development, design, automation, maintenance, or consulting services you purchase through it. The site and services are provided by Abdullah Al Akhzar, an individual operating as an independent contractor, based in Khanewal, Pakistan (“I”, “me”). By using the site or engaging my services you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Services are described on the site in general terms. The specific scope, deliverables, price, timeline, and payment schedule for your engagement are set out in a written proposal. Work begins only after you approve that proposal and pay any required deposit. Anything not listed in the proposal is out of scope and is quoted separately.

2. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, the content and assets needed for the work, timely feedback, and any access required (hosting, domain, third-party accounts). You confirm that any material you supply is yours to use and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

3. Payment

All prices are in US dollars; hourly work is billed at $65/hr. Payments are taken by secure invoice link once a written proposal is agreed; fixed-price packages may be paid at checkout. Milestone payments are due before the next milestone begins. Late or missed payments may pause the work.

4. Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and delivery by the Service Delivery Policy. Both form part of these terms.

5. Intellectual property

On receipt of full payment for a project, ownership of the final deliverables created specifically for you transfers to you. Until then, all work remains my property. I retain ownership of any pre-existing tools, libraries, or components I bring to the project, and I may reuse general skills, techniques, and know-how. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, I may reference the finished work in my portfolio.

6. Warranty and support

I will perform the services with reasonable skill and care. Each project includes a free bug-fix window as stated in the proposal, covering defects in the work I delivered. Outside that window, and for changes beyond the agreed scope, further work is chargeable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, my total liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Third-party services

Projects often rely on third-party platforms and services (hosting, payment processors, plugins, APIs). I am not responsible for their availability, changes, or pricing, though I will use reasonable judgement in recommending them.

9. Website use

The content on this site is provided for information only and may change without notice. You may not copy or reuse the site’s design or content without permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Khanewal, Punjab. We will attempt to resolve any dispute by good-faith discussion first.

11. Changes

I may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above shows when they were last changed. The terms in force when you approve a proposal apply to that engagement.
