Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all design, development, automation, maintenance, and consulting services provided by Abdullah Al Akhzar (“I”, “me”), an individual freelancer based in Khanewal, Pakistan, and purchased through abdullahisactive.com. All amounts are in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Payments are taken by secure invoice link once a written proposal is agreed.

1. Deposits

Most projects begin with a deposit (typically 40–50% of the quoted price). The deposit reserves time in my schedule and covers discovery, planning, and initial work. Once discovery or design work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.

2. Refunds before work begins

If you cancel in writing before any discovery, design, or development work has started, you are entitled to a full refund of what you paid, minus any non-recoverable payment-processing fees.

3. Refunds after work begins

If you cancel a project that is already in progress, I will:

• calculate the work completed to date on a fair pro-rata basis (hours worked, milestones delivered, and any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf), and
• refund the balance of your payments above that amount.

You keep the rights to all work you have paid for in full.

4. After delivery

Once a project or milestone has been delivered and approved, that payment is non-refundable. Problems found after delivery are handled as bug fixes under the Service Delivery Policy, not as refunds.

5. Non-refundable items

Third-party costs paid on your behalf (domains, hosting, paid themes/plugins, licensed assets, API credits), completed and approved milestones, and any agreed rush fee are non-refundable.

6. Cancellation by me

If I cannot complete a project (illness, scope no longer viable, non-payment, or unworkable communication), I will notify you, hand over all work completed to that point, and refund any payments for work not yet done.

7. Late feedback / inactive projects

If a project stalls because required content, access, or feedback is not provided for 30 days or more, I may pause or close it. Payments for completed work are not refunded; unused balance is handled under section 3.

8. How to request a refund

Email hello@abdullahisactive.com from the address used for the order, with your name, project, payment date, and reason. I respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method in USD within 7–14 business days.

9. Chargebacks

Please raise any billing issue with me first. Initiating a chargeback without contacting me may result in suspension of active work and access.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Pakistan; disputes are subject to the courts of Khanewal, Punjab.
